The UCSF Schools of Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy and Graduate Division are pleased to invite students interested in dentistry, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, physical therapy and/or the biological sciences to attend our annual outreach program. "Inside UCSF 2009" will take place on Friday, May 8th and Saturday, May 9th, 2009. This exciting and informative event is free, and designed to give students an in-depth introduction to a specific health science career path, a chance to meet current students and become inspired about their future career possibilities.

Our Inside UCSF outreach event will feature:

Interactive panels of students from the schools of dentistry, medicine, nursing, pharmacy and the life sciences discussing their path to, and succeeding in, professional and graduate school.
Specific introductions to one of the professional schools or the graduate division, including conversations with faculty, staff and students.
Workshops to demystify the preparation and application to graduate and professional school.
A classroom experience to expose you to a typical graduate/professional school academic experience.

Tips to register:

Registration on Acteva will take about 20 minutes.

You will have two short answer questions, with a 100 word limit per question: 1) Why do you think your advisor selected you to attend this event? 2) How will participating in this program benefit you? We strongly suggest that you draft your responses to the questions ahead of time, and then cut and paste your response into the field on the registration page.

Please note that Acteva does not allow you to begin your registration and return to it. Therefore we encourage you to read the entire form first and then complete it in one sitting.
