Overview

This program will begin with an orientation to the wide variety of careers in Science Communication and the job titles you can expect in these different fields. Then we'll have a panel discussion with four professionals in different facets of Science Communication. Join us to learn how each of these PhDs moved into their current fields, hear tips for how to explore these careers during your lab shutdowns, and get your questions answered!

Learning Outcomes:

After this session, you will be able to:

1. Name the variety of careers in this work sector.
2. Name the entry points into a career in Science Communication.
3. Develop a strategy for positioning yourself for your next step, whether as a career explorer or someone ready to move into this field.
