Overview

In this online workshop, you'll work with two medical writers in different branches of the field to create writing products based on real scenarios. You'll have the opportunity to work alone, in groups, and get feedback on your product from the guest speakers.

Learning Outcomes

After this workshop, you will have gained experience with the skills important for medical writing careers, including:

1. Ability to convey complicated concepts simply, without stripping the work of its nuances and implications for both the general public and the scientific community
2. Ability to learn and write about unfamiliar topics
3. Understanding the challenges and opportunities of medical writing
4. How to manage client expectations
5. Best practices for creating oral and written communications with diverse stakeholders
