Overview

Good rotations set you up for finding a good dissertation lab...but what's a good rotation and how do you have one? The Office of Career and Professional Development in collaboration with D'Anne Duncan, Assistant Dean for Diversity and Learner Success has developed a webpage resource to help first year students in basic and biomedical science students do just that. It covers what you need to do and understand before, during, and after your rotations and applies to both in-person and virtual rotations. In this event, one of the authors of this page will take you through how to use the page, facilitate meeting your fellow first-year students in small groups, and then answer questions you have about navigating your rotations.
