So you've signed up to teach and now you need materials, or perhaps you are simply a fan of science-related multimedia.  In either case, you may find interesting material in these databases.

• Biointeractive — Howard Hughes Medical Institute's compendium of animations, videos, teacher guides, and virtual labs.
• DNA Learning Center at Cold Spring Harbor Labs — resources, animations, interviews, and tools
• National Science Digital Library (NSDL) — an NSF-funded gateway to other science education databases, which contain resources such as lesson plans, PowerPoint presentations, illustrations and movies.  Covers many disciplines, including biology, chemistry, computational science, etc.
