Interested in private industry positions, but uncertain where to begin? Join us for our Visa Considerations for Private Industry workshop in collaboration with the International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO).

In this workshop, you’ll learn … 

  • How to identify companies that may hire foreign nationals 
  • Visa options and considerations
  • Strategies to respond to “Do you need visa sponsorship?” at varying points of the application process 

Who should attend: International students and postdocs who want to build some confidence around their negotiation skills. You are welcome whether you are currently looking for a job or not.

Format

During this Zoom webinar, we will be delivering lecture and addressing pre-submitted questions asked anonymously by registrants. We will also take anonymous questions from the audience during the session. The lecture portion will be recorded and available behind MyAccess a few days after the event.
