Overview
In this workshop, we'll help you answer the two most common questions asked by UCSF students and postdocs during the faculty negotiation process: What should I ask for? How can I ask for it? We highly recommend that you attend or review the materials from Bill Lindstaedt’s “Negotiating Your Faculty Compensation and Startup Package” seminar prior to this session, and that you bring a draft of your budget with you if you are currently preparing one. The information in this workshop is extremely helpful to understand before you go for interviews.
